May 17, 2014 — Master gardener and certified arborist, Debbie Cook, tells us that now is the time for all the little bugs to start laying their eggs in the trees and on the leaves of our favorite plants. She gives us advice on how to recoginize what type of bug they are and what to do about it now so that we don't have to deal with the offspring all summer long. Preen weed killer is a good way to stop broadleaf plants from growing and to fertilize your plants as well, but she reminds us how important it is to read the label. There are different kids of Preen for different uses.
