The Garden Gal, May 14, 2011 — Debbie Cook, the Garden Gal, a master gardener and certified arborist discusses how late everything is this spring which might not necessarily be a bad thing. With the average frost date past us, it is a good time to get those plants in the ground on a nice, overcast day. Although you still need to cover your tender crops like mellons, peppers, tomatoes and squash just to be safe. Now is the time to start treating your fruit trees but read the label because every treatment is different. Debbie also tells us what else to treat and answers questions in this weeks pod cast of The Garden Gal.
